1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GoFixit website, mobile application, and all services provided by GoFixit SA (Pty) Ltd.
1.2 By accessing or using GoFixit, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1.3 If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website, app, or services.

2.1 “GoFixit”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to GoFixit (Pty) Ltd.
2.2 “User” refers to any person who uses the GoFixit platform, including customers and service providers.
2.3 “Service Provider” means any individual or business offering home services through the GoFixit platform.
2.4 “Customer” means any user who books or requests services via GoFixit.
2.5 “Platform” means the GoFixit website and mobile application.

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use GoFixit.
3.2 Service Providers must be legally eligible to work in South Africa and provide valid identification.
3.3 By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and up to date.

  • 4.1 To access certain features, you must create an account on GoFixit.
    4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
    4.3 You agree to notify GoFixit immediately of any unauthorized account use.
    4.4 GoFixit reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

  • 5.1 The platform connects customers with independent service providers.
    5.2 GoFixit does not employ service providers; they operate as independent contractors.
    5.3 Users agree not to misuse the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activities.
    5.4 All communication and payments between customers and providers must be conducted through the GoFixit platform.

6.1 All payments for services must be made through the GoFixit platform via our secure payment gateway, Paystack.
6.2 Customers are required to make full payment before the service is confirmed.
6.3 GoFixit deducts a 20% commission from each completed transaction as a service fee.
6.4 The remaining 80% is released to the Service Provider once the job is confirmed as completed by the customer.
6.5 In cases of dispute, GoFixit may hold funds temporarily until the issue is resolved.
6.6 GoFixit is not responsible for any additional charges imposed by the user’s bank or payment provider.
6.7 Refunds, when applicable, are processed in line with our Refund Policy

7.1 Service Providers must provide honest, professional, and high-quality work.
7.2 Providers must keep their profiles and service information accurate and up to date.
7.3 Providers must comply with all applicable South African laws and safety standards.
7.4 Repeated customer complaints, misconduct, or poor service quality may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

8.1 Customers must provide accurate information when booking a service.
8.2 Customers agree to treat service providers with respect and provide a safe working environment.
8.3 Customers must not attempt to bypass the platform by hiring providers outside of GoFixit.

9.1 Cancellations and refunds are governed by the official GoFixit Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
9.2 Customers and providers are encouraged to review these policies before booking or accepting services.

10.1 In the event of a dispute between a customer and a provider, GoFixit may mediate in good faith.
10.2 GoFixit’s decision, based on verified evidence and platform records, will be final.

11.1 All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the GoFixit platform are the property of GoFixit SA (Pty) Ltd.
11.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without written consent from GoFixit.

12.1 GoFixit acts as a facilitator and is not responsible for the actions or omissions of service providers or customers.
12.2 We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

13.1 GoFixit values your privacy. All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13.2 By using GoFixit, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

14.1 GoFixit reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
14.2 Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15.1 GoFixit may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent or harmful activities.
15.2 Users may delete their accounts at any time by contacting GoFixit support.

16.1 These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
16.2 Any disputes arising shall be handled within South African jurisdiction.
